Popped in this afternoon for a toastie... What a lovely little place that's tucked away with a cosy little fire. Amazing food too and such lovely staff who were rushed off their feet . But still had time to be so attentive. Thanks so much

You cant beat a welcoming log fire on a chilly day! Daffodils offer a fantastic service, great food and it is such a homely coffee house. The scones and homemade jam are well worth a visit. Highly recommended

We have visited the Daffodil cafe numerous times on our trips to the lakes and scotland. The cafe is in a beautiful setting, with other shop's in a garden square in the shadow of the local church. Lovely atmosphere in a oldie worldly property. The ladies who serve us, I think the owners, are very welcoming friendly and lovely hosts. We usually have a full breakfast with coffe and its superb, and very reasonably priced. If your passing, you wont be disappointed. We park the other side of the church in a small disc zone area. Always a space ...one thing to mention....mind your head when visiting the loo.

Cute independent coffee shop . Nice home made food and good coffee. Very inviting quirky building.

Lovely little tea room / coffee shop. Each teapot is unique and very large, so there’s enough for several top ups! The rest of the crockery (fine bone china) is a delight to use. We tried the chocolate cake and victoria sponge - both fabulous - but they do sandwiches, lunches etc. too.

Gorgeous little cafe tucked away in Penrith church yard. I brought my American friend here and she loved it! The young lady serving us was friendly and welcoming and the food was great! They also allow dogs which I though was really nice.

If you're in Penrith, make sure to stop by Daffodils! It's a great independent coffee house, with a great selection of freshly made cakes and hot food! They can cater for gluten free too! Staff were very helpful and was a good atmosphere. Toilets are upstairs.

Popped in on a beautiful Monday afternoon, first at arriving there was no space for us, the very kind lady said give her 15-20 and she’ll put us a table by. Came back and the table was ready and waiting. Definitely worth the wait, so kind and friendly. Speedy and total professional. With out a doubt the best piece of carrot cake I have eaten. Well worth a visit
